The Swiss–Korean Innovation Week 2025 (May 19–23, 2025) marked a significant international platform for fostering collaboration at the crossroads of science, technology, and diplomacy. Hosted by the Embassy of Switzerland in Korea, the event brought together stakeholders across government, academia, and industry to explore cutting-edge themes—this year centered around Human Augmentation.
The INTEGRATE Pathfinder Project was prominently featured, particularly during the 12th Swiss–Korean Life Science Symposium in Seoul. The event offered INTEGRATE a unique opportunity to highlight its mission of building a European innovation ecosystem for Augmented Humanity. Our presence at the symposium emphasized the project’s role in connecting research and applied innovation, especially where biotech, artificial intelligence, and healthcare technologies converge.
Ana Claudia Marques from the INTEGRATE team contributed to an anticipatory diplomacy workshop, which stood out for its interdisciplinary approach. As she noted, "Bringing different disciplines together will allow us to anticipate the challenges of bringing some of these new technologies to real-world application." This perfectly reflects INTEGRATE’s commitment to foresight-driven, human-centric innovation.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Embassy of Switzerland in Korea and all partners involved for providing such an insightful, future-oriented opportunity.
